Stark House Looseleaf Brew
This blend of Earl Grey infused with maple from trees of the Northern Realm has been a staple brew for the Stark bloodline for centuries. Crafted on cold, snowy winter nights, this recipe has been made popular at inns and taverns of the North. Maester’s of the citadel claim ingesting the Stark’s House Brew relieves one of frostbite from the White Walkers.
Ingredients: Earl grey tea, dehydrated maple, lavender. (Strength = 2/5: Savoury, sweet, mellow)
Targaryen House Brew
Fear not, for this blend of blackcurrant berry, black tea and berry is not a mad brew, but a warm, tangy and fruitful one. This blend was first crafted for the Mad King and served to his children. Daenerys Targaryen often brewed it on her travels in the East, and served it to her guests at Dragonstone. With words of its recipe spread by Varys, Wolfdôr now brews it for all to enjoy.
Ingredients: Black tea, blackcurrant berry, cranberry, flower. (Strength = 3/5: sweet, sour-berry)
Lannister’s Golden Blend
House Lannister had administered the best maester’s and apothecaries of the Realm to developed a blend of loose leaf that proved irresistible at taverns, inns and brothels of King’s Landing. The stimulating effects of the orange pekoe tea returned their investment handsomely, making for a golden brew known throughout all of Westeros. Even Cersei took breaks from wine to enjoy a hearty cup.
Ingredients: Orange pekoe black tea. (Strength = 3/5 : Enjoy with milk and sugar)
1 Bag = 50 grams/roughly 17-18 tbsp looseleaf (0.75 - 1 tbsp per 1 cup of 8/oz tea) Instructions: Bring water to a boil, pour and let looseleaf tea steep for around 5 minutes. Consume within 6 months of purchase.
